Having used SPIP for 6 months, I choosed to remplace it by something simpler to manage and to configure with regard to my needs. After having looked at Plume CMS and Pluf framework, I took the plunge and developed (in PHP) a minimalist CMS without database and working with an html template and with a tree of articles. I use Multiviews Apache extension that allows to obtain cooler urls than Spip's that looked like http://micosphere.free.fr/spip.php?article=9 (although it is possible to improve them).
Next steps of noCMS (yes it even has a name) will be a bit of refactoring and code cleanup, improving modularity and making a comments management (for the last, I suppose that a database will be compulsory).
